Ryu Hae-ran Wins Women's PGA Championship

South Korea's Ryu Hae-ran captured her first major title at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, denying Nelly Korda's bid for history.

She rallied from a 10-shot first-round deficit to win by two strokes at Hazeltine National Golf Club, becoming the first major champion in at least 60 years to overcome such a margin.

The 25-year-old fired a final round of two-under 70 to finish at 13-under 275.

The victory earned her the biggest pay cheque in women's golf history and marked a dream-come-true moment.
