Deadly Tornadoes and Floods Batter China
At least 15 people have died and 16 are buried following severe flooding and landslides across China, triggered by Typhoon Maysak and heavy monsoon rains.
The extreme weather also caused a dam breach that forced the evacuation of 48,000 residents.
Tornadoes in central China left at least 11 dead, while a landslide in Gansu Province buried 33 people.
In Guangxi, escaped breeding-farm snakes, including venomous cobras, terrorised flooded towns, with several villagers bitten.
