Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler crushed Gerwyn Price 18-9 to win his second consecutive World Matchplay title in Blackpool.

Littler set a tournament record average of 111.04, breaking Phil Taylor’s long-standing mark.

He fired in six 100-plus checkouts during a dominant final performance.

The 19-year-old declared it ‘one of the best weeks of my life’.
