Chelsea Fined £10m, Handed Transfer Ban

The breaches involved £47 million in undisclosed payments to unregistered agents and third parties related to player transfers between 2011 and 2018 under former owner Roman Abramovich.

An independent appeal board set aside the points deduction but imposed the fine and suspended ban.

The FA said it is still investigating individuals involved.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso now faces a squad rebuild with the threat of a transfer ban hanging over the club.
