Guinea rubbish landfill collapse kills 30

A massive mound of rubbish at the Dar-es-Salam landfill in Conakry, Guinea, collapsed onto nearby homes, killing at least 30 people and injuring 22 others.

Heavy rains are believed to have weakened the waste pile, triggering the disaster.
