Vance Boelter Sentenced to Life for Killing Lawmaker

Vance Boelter was sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the politically motivated murders of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband.

The sentencing came a year after Boelter disguised himself as a police officer to attack the Democratic lawmaker.

He also critically wounded state senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette.
