US condemns Israeli settler siege in West Bank

For over a week, Israeli settlers have besieged Palestinian homes in the West Bank village of Qusra, cutting off water and supplies, in an act that the U.S. ambassador labeled 'state-backed settler terror.' The Israeli military has reportedly stood by while settlers blockaded the homes, drawing sharp international condemnation.

Activists attempted to deliver supplies but were turned back by settlers, who have also seized water sources to fill a swimming pool.

The crisis has put pressure on the Netanyahu government to act, with the U.S. calling on Israel to remove the settlers immediately.
