ICE Agent Arrested for Shooting

A federal immigration agent has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a Venezuelan national during an Operation Metro Surge raid in Minneapolis.

The agent, identified as Christian Castro, was apprehended in Texas after a warrant was issued for assault and obstruction of justice.

Surveillance video from the January incident reportedly contradicts Castro's initial claims that he fired his weapon in self-defense.

The victim, Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, survived the shooting but remains in recovery as the case fuels national debate over the Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement tactics.
