Vance Boelter Sentenced to Life for Killing Lawmaker

Vance Boelter, 59, was sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the politically motivated murders of former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark.

Boelter had pleaded guilty to federal charges related to the killings, as well as the critical wounding of state senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette.
