Zelenskyy Arrives at White House for Trump Talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the White House for a closed-door meeting with President Donald Trump, seeking to secure continued US military aid and discuss stalled peace talks with Russia.

The bilateral meeting lasted about an hour, with Zelenskyy's visit to Washington also honoring the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

The diplomatic engagement comes as the Senate prepares to vote on a sweeping sanctions bill championed by Graham that would punish Russian energy exports.

Zelenskyy's office has also asked Ukraine's top prosecutor to consider launching criminal proceedings against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
