US-Iran Strikes Widen Across Gulf

The United States and Iran exchanged fresh strikes for a seventh consecutive night, with the conflict escalating to target critical civilian infrastructure across the Persian Gulf.

Iran struck a second Kuwaiti power and water desalination plant in two days, causing fires and forcing several power generation units offline, while also claiming coordinated attacks on American military assets in Bahrain, including aircraft hangars and fuel tanks at Sheikh Isa Air Base.

The U.S. military widened its operations to hit Iranian port facilities, energy infrastructure, and bridges, as President Trump sought to intensify pressure on Tehran.

Iran threatened a "full-scale offensive" if American strikes continue, suspended its commitments to a memorandum of understanding with Washington, and declared that "no political border will be safe," raising fears of an all-out war that could destabilise the global economy.
