Illegally Cut Mangkono Tree Log Recovered in Romblon

Police and environment personnel recovered an abandoned illegally cut Mangkono tree log during an operation in San Fernando town, Romblon.

The Mangkono, also known as Philippine ironwood, is a threatened hardwood species prized for its durability.

The San Fernando Municipal Police assisted the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the recovery.
