Ford Recalls 741,000 Vehicles Over Transmission Flaw

The recall covers certain Escape, Maverick, and Corsair models from recent years.

Ford says a damaged park system can prevent the vehicle from staying stationary, and owners should use the parking brake until repairs are made.

Dealers will fix the issue free of charge.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a full list of affected VINs.
