Chelsea Sign Morgan Rogers for Record £117m

Chelsea completed the signing of England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for a British record £117 million, beating Arsenal to the forward.

Rogers signed a seven-year contract and said Xabi Alonso was a key factor in his decision.

The 23-year-old becomes the most expensive British player ever, surpassing the previous record.

Rogers took a dig at Arsenal, saying he was happy to join the 'biggest club in London'.
