Tony Romo Placed on Leave by CBS After DUI

CBS Sports placed Tony Romo on indefinite leave after the former NFL quarterback was arrested for operating while intoxicated in Milwaukee.

The network named J.J. Watt as his replacement in the broadcast booth alongside Jim Nantz.

The arrest and leave came amid reports that Romo had made CBS executives uncomfortable with his contract demands.

Romo's 10-year, $180 million deal, signed in 2020, had already drawn scrutiny.
