Gaza death toll hits July record

The Gaza health ministry confirmed that 152 Palestinians were killed in July, pushing the month’s death toll to a new high and bringing the overall death toll since the conflict began to over 30 000.

Hospitals say the surge is straining already‑overburdened medical facilities, while aid agencies warn of an impending humanitarian catastrophe.

International calls for a cease‑fire have intensified as the death toll climbs.
