Thousands mourn Jason Arday in London

Thousands gathered in London's Trafalgar Square for a vigil honoring Jason Arday, the former Cambridge professor who died at 41.

Mourners blamed "racist" media scrutiny for his death.

Speakers at the vigil called Arday a victim of "public execution" and demanded an inquiry into the media coverage.

The press regulator IPSO is reviewing a "high volume of complaints" over newspaper coverage of Arday following his death.
