North Korea has tested several new weapons under its leader Kim Jong Un, including tactical ballistic missiles, artillery rockets and AI-guided cruise missiles, state media KCNA reports.
The tests assessed the power of a 'special mission warhead' on tactical ballistic missiles, the reliability of long-range multiple-launch artillery rockets and the accuracy of AI-guided tactical cruise missiles, KCNA said.
KCNA said the cruise missiles are ready for combat and will be used by artillery units near the South Korean border.
The missiles can strike targets up to 100 km (62 miles) away.
