Russian attacks kill 3 and wound more than 20 in Ukraine’s Dnipro
Russian drone and missile strikes on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro killed at least three people and wounded 21 overnight, local authorities said Saturday.
The bodies were found in the ruins of a destroyed house, said Dnipropetrovsk regional head Oleksandr Ganzha.
Fires broke out across the city and several apartment buildings were partially destroyed.
In Russia, a woman was killed and a man was seriously wounded by a drone strike in the border region of Belgorod.
The attacks came a day after Russia and Ukraine exchanged 193 prisoners of war, one of the few tangible outcomes of otherwise stalled U.S.-brokered peace negotiations.
