Ramalinga Reddy withdraws resignation, continues as Karnataka cabinet
Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy has withdrawn his resignation from the state Cabinet after expressing dissatisfaction over portfolio allocation.
Reddy, who expected the Bengaluru Development portfolio, was instead assigned Major and Medium Irrigation.
Chief Minister D K Shivakumar confirmed the issue is resolved, dispelling rumors of internal rifts.
The leadership's intervention averted the first significant challenge for the new government.
