EU summons Russian envoy after 'threat' to foreigners to leave Kyiv
The EU summoned Russia's top diplomat in Brussels after Moscow warned foreign citizens and diplomats to leave Kyiv and threatened fresh strikes on Ukraine's capital, a spokeswoman said. "Russia's threat to foreign citizens and diplomats to leave Kyiv is an unacceptable escalation," EU spokeswoman Anitta Hipper posted online, adding the envoy had been told Moscow must "stop hitting civilians."
