Lucknow’s Tanmay Srivastava to make IPL debut as on-field umpire

Former cricketer Tanmay Srivastava will debut as an on-field umpire in IPL 2026 during Punjab Kings vs Rajasthan Royals on April 28, marking a full-circle moment after playing for Punjab in 2008.

The first from Uttar Pradesh in this role, he previously served as a fourth umpire.

A former U-19 World Cup winner, he transitioned from playing and coaching to officiating, now set to oversee multiple matches this season.
