US President Donald Trump said he would claim the United States' World Cup match against Belgium was "rigged, just like the election was rigged in 2020" if Belgium won without striker Folarin Balogun on the field.
Trump also said he had asked FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the red card shown to Balogun, describing the decision as "horrible" and saying he wanted it reconsidered.
