When they first moved into their Vancouver home, Maria and Sergey Parsyak were just grateful to have a home.
One day, Sergey had an urge to get creative, despite never having had that feeling before. “I don’t know where it (came) from,” Sergey explains by gesturing to the sky, before stretching his arms out in front of him. “It pushed me to do something.” “I think it’s lovely,” Maria recalls.
The couple credits their enduring marriage with consistently choosing love.
