Ontario is seeing a sharp increase in U.S.-trained physicians choosing to practice in the province, with 570 registering last year alone.

CTV's Leah Larocque speaks with Dr. Jennifer Carnahan, a geriatrician who moved from Indiana to The Ottawa Hospital in February.

Dr. Carnahan says the Canadian healthcare system offers a community-oriented ethos and relief from the "attack" on science she felt in the United States under the Trump administration.
