Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine briefed reporters on the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports near the Strait of Hormuz as the fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire holds.
This comes as China pressures Iran to reopen the key water passage and as U.S. Navy Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of the U.S. military's Central Command, publicly addresses efforts in the region.
