Israel strikes Beirut for the first time since ceasefire – video

Buildings and infrastructure were destroyed by Israeli missiles on Wednesday in the first attack on the Lebanese capital since Israel and Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire last month.

The Israeli army said the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan force, the elite unit of the pro-Iran armed group, was killed in one of the strikes.

Several people were killed by Israeli airstrikes in the south of the country, where attacks have continued despite the agreement
