A glacier collapse triggered flash floods and mudslides across Nepal and Tibet on Wednesday, burying villages and a major border crossing under mud and debris.
Nearly 390 people have died, with around 1,400 still missing, including hundreds of foreign nationals.
Rescue teams face major challenges reaching survivors as roads and bridges have been destroyed.
Authorities warn two glacial lakes on either side of the border remain at risk of bursting, raising fears of further disaster.
