Kyle Shanahan accident: What happened to 49ers coach? John Lynch shares recovery update

San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch said Kyle Shanahan is expected to be ready for the regular season despite suffering serious injuries in a July 14 car accident.

Shanahan will attend training camp with limited duties while recovering from a concussion.

Chris Foerster will temporarily take over some responsibilities as doctors continue to monitor Shanahan’s recovery.
