Trump defends naval blockade, says US will not allow ‘blackmail’

President Donald Trump said the US naval blockade is aimed at preventing Iran from “blackmail” or “extort[ing] the world”
He added that the US does not rely on the Strait of Hormuz, saying: “We don’t use the strait,” and claiming the country has “more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia”.
