Russian forces attacked Kyiv overnight on July 2 with drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the strike on the Ukrainian capital was the most massive since the start of the full-scale war.

All districts of Kyiv sustained damage; the latest figures show at least 13 people were killed and more than 90 were wounded.

City authorities warned that the casualty toll is not final, as rescuers are still working through the rubble.

July 3 has been declared a day of mourning in Kyiv.
