Man killed, 13-year-old boy shot in West Garfield Park

Two men fired shots in the 3800 block of West Adams Street at 6:50 p.m., hitting a 49-year-old man on the sidewalk and a 13-year-old boy in a car, police said.</p><p>The man was taken to Mt. A man was killed and a boy hospitalized by a shooting in West Garfield Park Thursday night, according to Chicago police.

Two men fired shots in the 3800 block of West Adams Street at 6:50 p.m., hitting a 49-year-old man on the sidewalk and a 13-year-old boy in a car, police said.

The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he later died.

The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody.
