Crack in California chemical tank a positive sign, but explosion fears remain

Officials say an industrial tank in Southern California containing about 7,000 gallons of highly flammable and toxic chemicals appears to have cracked.

Experts say that could mean a rupture or catastrophic explosion may be averted.

Thousands have been evacuated from several communities in Orange County.
