Singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, faces murder and dismemberment charges for the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Her body was found in his abandoned car.
Authorities allege a sexual relationship and a threat to expose it led to the crime.
He has pleaded not guilty and is held without bail.
