Gold Star families are objecting to Donald Trump’s self-serving comment about the four soldiers who died in the last week in his war against Iran.

Trump, 80, effectively put words in the service members’ mouths during their dignified transfer ceremony on Wednesday.

Army 1st Lt Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Hawaii, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28, of New York, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Texas, died in Jordan during Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks.

Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, of North Carolina, died on Sunday in Iraq during a controlled explosion of an Iranian drone.
