Chaos at Singanallur terminus as voters block road over bus shortage ahead of Tamil Nadu polls
Hundreds of passengers staged a road blockade at Coimbatore's Singanallur bus terminus late Wednesday night, protesting an alleged shortage of government buses to southern districts.
The demonstration, driven by a heavy turnout of voters, brought traffic to a halt on Trichy Road as many struggled to return home to vote ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
