French special forces are discreetly combating against jihadists in Benin

French authorities officially speak of the presence of trainers in the north of the country, an area that has seen jihadist incursions.

But according to several sources interviewed by Le Monde, elements of the French special forces have also taken part in combat missions alongside the Beninese army.
