Move it March project earns South Wigston national recognition

South Wigston High School in South Leicestershire has been recognised at the School Games Impact Awards 2026 for its ‘Move it March’ initiative, which embeds 60 minutes of daily physical activity into school life.

The programme was praised for improving wellbeing, building social connections and creating a culture of regular exercise among pupils and staff.
