Mitsotakis pushes for stronger EU mutual defense

Support for Cyprus from several European countries, including Greece, after the island became a target amid the US-Israel war on Iran “marked the first tangible proof that Europe can defend its member states even without the direct involvement of third parties,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Friday.
