31 sloths planned for a public exhibit die in Florida

A planned sloth attraction in Orlando, Sloth World, failed to open after all thirty-one sloths died.

The animals perished due to a lack of proper facilities, including no water or electricity in a warehouse.

Space heaters broke, leaving the tropical animals exposed to cold temperatures.

Later, ten more sloths from Peru arrived in poor health and did not survive.
