US, Iran sit down for talks in Islamabad

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US Vice President JD Vance met in Islamabad on Saturday as peace talks to end the broadening war in the Middle East got under way.

The US delegation is set to meet Iranian officials later in the day.
