Soaring inflation, fuel shortages, and subsidy cuts have triggered weeks of unrest in Bolivia.
Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets in and around La Paz, blockading roads and demanding action from the government.
Some demonstrators are now calling for the resignation of President Rodrigo Paz, who has been in office for only six months.
Residents say shortages of fuel and basic goods are worsening daily as tensions continue to rise.
