Since 2 March, Israel’s invasion of Lebanon and fighting with Hezbollah have displaced more than 1.2 million people—about a fifth of the population—with UNICEF citing nearly 400,000 children.

The UN says evacuation orders cover 14% as Israeli forces extend control from the Litani to the Zahrani River, 40km inside Lebanon.

Roads and bridges were hit, hampering aid; 8 April strikes on 100 sites left hundreds dead, six hospitals shut.

WFP says 80% of southern markets are non-functional.
