A Kentucky state trooper says a person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the fatal shootings of two bank employees during a robbery.

Trooper Justin Kearney posted online Friday that the person is “believed to be involved” in the robbery in Berea on Thursday.

Police had said a man wearing a gray-white hoodie, gloves and a mask entered a branch of U.S. Bank and shot the workers.

Police posted a photo of the suspect on social media and asked people to call if they recognize him or have information.

Authorities went door to to door and used helicopters, drones and dogs to search for the suspect.
