Mamata Banerjee announces sit-in protest on June 2 over post-poll violence, attacks on party leaders in West Bengal
The Trinamool Congress announced a protest on June 2 at Rani Rashmoni Avenue, led by Mamata Banerjee, against alleged post-poll violence and attacks on party leaders, including Abhishek Banerjee and Kalyan Banerjee.
The party claims these incidents are planned, while the BJP refutes the allegations.
Five individuals were arrested in connection with the attack on Abhishek Banerjee.
