Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM, ends DMK-AIADMK era dominance
C Joseph Vijay was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu by Governor R V Arlekar on Sunday morning.
Several of his party colleagues also took the oath as ministers.
The event, which began with 'Vande Mataram' instead of 'Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu', saw the presence of Rahul Gandhi and other notable figures.
