Taylor: Paxton's Baggage Puts Texas In Play for Dems

Jessica Taylor, Senate and Governors Editor at the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter, says public and private polling shows the Texas Senate race essentially tied, with Ken Paxton's political and personal baggage helping put the state in play for Democrats.

Taylor says trade tensions with Canada could also have political consequences in battleground states including Michigan and Ohio, where tariffs may cut both ways with voters.
