Riots over Belfast knife attack continue

Water cannons were deployed near Belfast for a second night on Wednesday, as unrest flared after a knife attack.

The disorder followed a night of violence on Tuesday, when masked protesters set barricades alight and reportedly attacked homes, properties and businesses linked to minority ethnic communities.

The unrest was sparked by footage shared on social media showing a knife-wielding attacker slashing at a man's head and neck.
