Trump: Iran must “behave properly”

During Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting, President Trump said the U.S. will not lift sanctions on Iran until the country learns to “behave properly,” as tensions continue and negotiations toward a peace deal remain unresolved.

“We have control of money that they claim is theirs,” the President said, referring to Iranian assets currently under U.S. control.

Trump said the funds will remain frozen unless Iran changes its conduct and agrees to U.S. demands.

“We’ll keep control of that money.

When they behave properly and when they do what’s right, we’ll let them have their money.”
