Ann Widdecombe: British man, 26, arrested on suspicion of murder in Devon

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after Ann Widdecombe was found seriously injured in her Devon home.

The ex-Tory prisons minister, who was 78, later became a Brexit Party MEP and subsequently a Reform UK spokeswoman.

She also found fame outside politics after starring in Strictly Come Dancing.
